Thread: Help with Russian again
Post: RE: Help with Russian again
Btw, all hashcat version support charset files. But they must been encoded with a 8 bit based encoding. That is ISO-8859-5 and windows-1251. Just enter all the chars you like in a charset and save it ... |

Thread: Help with simple mask
Post: RE: Help with simple mask
No that's not the purpose of --stdout. It's used to pipe or redirect the candidates. In your case the hash is read as maskfile and since it does not include any wildcards it's printed as-is. |

Thread: HELP, oclHashcat-plus 0.12 ERROR: cuMemcpyDtoH() 700
Post: RE: HELP, oclHashcat-plus 0.12 ERROR: cuMemcpyDto...
I am getting error reports on the low-end nvidia cards. Seems to be a general problem. On my 560Ti it works fine, so I guess it must be a cross-compiler problem. Did the older version work? |

Multiple bugs caused by XP 32bit have been fixed. You have to wait for the next release or update to Win7 64bit or so. |

Maybe we need new .def files for cuda 32 bit. The 700 error should be fixed, the 999 one is a different. |

Please switch to 64 bit and try again with the same setup. Maybe a workaround. |

Not related to the dmes warning, but its a good chance its because its 32 bit. If you can, try again with a 64 bit version. |

Thanks for the details. As not a single hash was cracked there must be something wrong. Can you crack the LM and NTLM example hash from here: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=example_hashes ? |

Thread: Hex ch and small problem
Post: RE: Hex ch and small problem
?b doesn't make sense because DES strips the highest bit and you'll end up with a 56 bit keyspace. That's what DES_full.charset is optimized for, to search only within this 56 bit keyspace. |

There's actually two ways: Use multiple masks with N constants in it to divide the total keyspace or a large rewrite of hashcat. But both can't help you. Such an integer overflow just shows that your ... |

Thread: Hex-Charset cracked, but now what
Post: RE: Hex-Charset cracked, but now what
Note that hashcat automatically switches to hex output when the password is not in the 7 bit range, so not between 0x20 and 0x80. That's important to avoid encoding problem on the shell. So, for examp... |
