Post: RE: Incomplete hash -how to find out the password?...

There's no such option in hashcat to do that, but you can patch the kernel if you have some programming skills. There's a mode that does this partially, mode 5100, you can use it to get an idea of how...

You are right, this is a bug. Just not inside oclhashcat. So there is no way to fix it. Cryptohaze Multiforcer does not support dictionary so you cant compare.

Post: RE: incorrectly identified GPU.... r290 and r7950

this looks like a temperature problem, since your gpu reached the 90c. oclhashcat does not have any influence on the way how gpu bios reacts in such a case, therefore i would recommend you to do --gpu...

The first one is the typical empty hash in LM, so useless because not used. The second one is the NTLM, you can try to crack it with -m 1000.

If it's a custom kernel it's propably only a few hashes to crack, in this case you can simply hardcode the salt values into the kernel.

The maximum block size for 32 bit based sha* versions is 64 and 128 for the 64 bit based ones. So in case you want to compute a sha1 of an input message of length 102 you need to split them in two par...

I had added support for this to hashcat v3.20, but it was bugged in case of WPA. Should be fixed with latest beta on https://hashcat.net/beta/

Either that, and I'm not certain if 15.12 supports the 380x, or you patch it out manually

It's a bit more complicated, because of the parallel computing. The important part here is that it's a unique ID (per session).
