There's no true generic kernel. There's always a limit. In theory, you could have a 25gb long bytestream as salt. That would propably exceed your GPU ram. But even such a thing could be supported, but...

Can you post your commandline? Also, there is no need to trim wordlists for usage with WPA, oclHashcat-plus automatically "rejects" them. Thats the counter you see in the status display.

You also often see vbull salts somehow url encoded. Make sure to decode first.

Just checked new 17.10 driver, no changes to 16.60 - all bugs still exist. Currently 16.40 is still the best amgpu-pro driver.
