Why 10241? If you use 10241 it will not work. Both JtR and hashcat use the $DCC2$ format.

Hashcat handles CRLF automatically, at least \r\n and \n, not \r

Not just digits, it should work for all data as long as it does not include 0x00, \n or :

hashcat is not optimized for brute force, but oclHashcat-lite is. that is because even with 64 high speed cpus you can not beat home computer with single hd6990 gpu.
