Thread: Process in HashCat $mskrb5$
Post: RE: Process in HashCat $mskrb5$
You need to move the salt after the hash:

Post: RE: proper format: to use salt file
oclHashcat does not support external salts (and never did), only hashcat does. |

It should be enough to use the right mode.
You can use this as a reference: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=example_hashes |

Well, there is no regexp in hashcat. But using my reference you should be able to write your own |

Thread: proper use of increment option
Post: RE: proper use of increment option
The "min-max" options are used for the mask, therefore looks good to me (since WPA is also limited to a min of 8). |

You can't use -s to "workaround" that behavior, it goes back in how GPU handle their workload. |

Yes, it doesn't make any sense then anyway, because such a small wordlist will finish soon |

Thread: Purge rule?
Post: RE: Purge rule?
It's not possible, at least not for the old vector datatype based GPUs VLIW4, VLIW5, sm_21. That is because the purge rules changes the length of the candidate depending on the candidate value. It wou... |

Thread: Purge rule?
Post: RE: Purge rule?
I'm not sure if I understood this fully. However, with CPU based algorithms (slow ones, iterated) you can already use the purge rule since oclHashcat uses hashcat rule engine in that case. |
