Thread: Segmentation fault on Mesa and AMDGPU
Post: RE: Segmentation fault on Mesa and AMDGPU
Yes, hashcat fully supports them. But they are very unstable and therefore they often crash.
To verify it's not hashcat, compile hashcat from sources with DEBUG=1 make and then run the same command... |

Post: RE: Segmentation fault on Mesa and AMDGPU
Yes, that's true. You have either switch to windows, buy a new gpu with amdgpu-pro support or stick to an older distribution. Thanks AMD :) |

Thread: sequential hash? reallly weird!
Post: RE: sequential hash? reallly weird!
Given the fact that it's exactly 16 asterisks after the F, I'd guess the part between S and F (inclusive) is some fixed salt. Only way to find out is to look at the source (or reverse the binary). |

Thread: SHA-1 512. What are the options??
Post: RE: SHA-1 512. What are the options??
to crack sha512crypt you need -m 1800 and hashcat cpu. however, this is not a hash cracking forum. use https://hashkiller.com if you need help to get your hash cracked. |
