Thread: Should we be using Aircrack ?
Post: RE: Should we be using Aircrack ?
only i think i can recommend is using the wpaclean utility before running it with aircrack-ng. its part of the aircrack-ng suite. the online converter is doing this, too. |

Not possible with pure hashcat. You need to wrap a script around. |

Thread: Simple BF on MD5 with oclHashcat-lite
Post: RE: Simple BF on MD5 with oclHashcat-lite
everything is fine, you are just using it wrong.
you defined a custom charset but you do not use it. in this case, it uses the default mask which does not match your plaintext.

Thread: Simple hashcat wrapper in C#
Post: RE: Simple hashcat wrapper in C#
This is the wrong approach. If you want to keep track of the progress you better parse the restore file. See here for structure: https://hashcat.net/wiki/oclhashcat_lite#parsing_the_restore-file |

Thread: Simple Question
Post: RE: Simple Question
there is no speed difference between 32 and 64 bit for the gpu tools, the cpu tool greatly benefits from the 64 bitness. |
