oclHashcat-lite and oclHashcat-plus share the same code when it comes to temperate management. Double check this issue again, pls.

Hm the only change between them is that plus uses a new ADL library. In this case you have to wait for a new -lite version. It will be used automatically in the next version. Then check it again.

No, you can't reuse this unless the salt length is exactly the same. Otherwise it requires a special kernel module.
