Post: RE: QBW Encoding, Hash Extraction
The answer is simple, the implementation may not. You need to find out is how the real program loads it. |

sure you can. but just know about that: nowadays CPU's are not important any longer in hashcracking. you can stick to the 5870 and have much more fun. |

what you can do is to run 5 instances of oclHashcat*. you just have to split the workload into 5 chunks. see this article to get an idea: https://hashcat.net/wiki/distributing_workload_in_oclhashcat |

Awesome! Many thanks! I've tweeted about here: https://twitter.com/hashcat/status/478814218209480704
This should help developers to rapidly integrate oclHashcat into their projects.

No it does not. Unfortionally that wont work for oclHashcat-plus since it's much more complicated. Especially when it comes to the more advanced attack modes, how would you specify the inner loop part... |

that is only possible by creating own .restore files yet, but the structure is not so easy to understand. best way is to use split when using a dictionary or splitting the mask when using brute-force ... |

It's not possible, at least not for the old vector datatype based GPUs VLIW4, VLIW5, sm_21. That is because the purge rules changes the length of the candidate depending on the candidate value. It wou... |

Thread: Purge rule?
Post: RE: Purge rule?
I'm not sure if I understood this fully. However, with CPU based algorithms (slow ones, iterated) you can already use the purge rule since oclHashcat uses hashcat rule engine in that case. |
