Thread: oclHashcat without window manager
Post: RE: oclHashcat without window manager
The main problem is that all drivers > catalyst 12.8 are very unstable (and slow). So you should stick to catalyst 12.8. Btw, X11 is not decreasing your cracking rates. |

Thread: oclhashcat vs hashcat
Post: RE: oclhashcat vs hashcat
Did you make sure to have no words >= length 32 inside your dictionaries? That's the difference between both programs.
There's also a huge difference between b53 and b57, please try again with b57.... |

getops allows the usage of -o between two arguments, but the function that tries to find out if the input hashfile and the outfile is the same seems not to work on windows. please wait for a fix |

Thread: oclHashcat version 2.10, FPGA support?
Post: RE: oclHashcat version 2.10, FPGA support?
Latest oclHashcat beta (on github) supports all OpenCL platforms and all OpenCL device types. If the vendor of that FPGA provides such a OpenCL runtime, it should work. If it does, tell me :) |

Post: RE: oclHashcat v2.10 performance questions?
Your doing 2 things wrong!
Read this: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=frequently_asked_questions#why_is_my_attack_so_slow Point 2 and 3
Basically 1) add a rule (important!) and 2) add -w 3 |

Not sure what your problem is, 105MH/s is pretty good for a CPU. |

I think you're confusing hashcat and oclHashcat here, is that possible? |
