Thread: hashcat approved gpu driver no longer available
Post: RE: hashcat approved gpu driver no longer availabl...
Unknown. Too bad we don't have any tester with AMD + windows combination anymore. Almost everyone switched to nvidia or linux or both. |

if you know parts of the password, you can treat them as salts. like:
hash1:My-Password-
hash2:My-Password-
hash3:My-Password-
and then you can use -m 20 in combination with -a 3 ?d?d?d?d for ... |

Thread: Checkpoint not working in latest version or me being a noob?
Post: RE: Checkpoint not working in latest version or me...
The time it takes depends on the number of amplifiers being used, in this case the rules and also the number of non-unique salts. Both can have a large impact on the time it takes. So I guess with 30k... |

Post: RE: Checkpoint not working in latest version or me...
Right, that's basically the best way to use hashcat in every case.
If possible: For slow hashes try to hold the amplifier around 50-500 amplifier and for fast hashes 500-5000. Shift more data to th... |

Post: RE: Checkpoint not working in latest version or me...
This is a balance act!
The more amplifiers (rules) the longer it takes to reach a checkpoint.
The more salts you have the longer it takes to reach a checkpoint.
If you use too less amplifiers, yo... |

Thread: No keyspace for the distributed hashcat v3.00
Post: RE: No keyspace for the distributed hashcat v3.00
Please use --keyspace. You will find out that the use of --keyspace is not allowed in combination with -i, which is required to tell hashcat to increase the mask-length with each iteration by one. So ... |

1. Stop calling hashcat oclHashcat
2. I can not use GPU-Z to do this, because I do not have AMD GPU + Windows in combination (and none of the beta tester have) |
