yeah, more hashes means slower speed. that is not because of the hashing, but because of the searching after the hashing if the candidate digest is in the list of wanted hashes

Latest oclHashcat beta (on github) supports all OpenCL platforms and all OpenCL device types. If the vendor of that FPGA provides such a OpenCL runtime, it should work. If it does, tell me :)

You cannot measure the efficiency of the attack based on crackpos as this is a parallel execution with millions of workitems in it. It is up to the OpenCL runtime which one to execute in which order.

It's a hashcat limitation not a limitation caused by the algorithm itself.

Here are some 16.30 and 16.7.2 impressions: Driver versions 16.30 (linux) and 16.7.2 (windows) behave almost the same. The performance changes are almost identical and all the other impressions follow...
