Don't forget electricity, if running one node with few cards it's ok, nothing noticeable, but if you have some small cluster or more?

For your setup (5970+5870) you need any standard cable rated ~5A. Let's say if you owe FAT PS3 - it's cable will go fine as it's rate is 10/15A (not because it drains so much, but because of security ... |

Depends on budget. For hash cracking I would go for something like 5870, 6950 and up. Also if electricity on mind - just 5xxx series. Like 5970 does same job as 6990 using ~35% less energy. |

Isn't it's easier to use some script.sh with your fan commands, when you launch script with hashcat job, on top write 70% at the end 30% and all will be done ... I would never trust other software to ... |
