You don't like to read, don't you? About temperatures there is plenty info on this forum, on bitcoin forums and more. There is no exact bad temperature for all GPU's but consider to stay below 80C

So you need to add extra fans on your case or do something else to avoid cards overheat. Temp retain put's fans high, but not stops your current work to allow cards to cool.

Random salt take much time for process restart. Possible most efficient way is to mix salt like 0009010203.... If you know that for some models code usually ends at 0 or at 9.
