8x AMD HD7970 gives 77981.6 M/s in our Ubuntu 12:04 system. This is with Catalyst drivers version 12.8 and oclHashcat version 0.13. Our 7970s are 1100MHz.

Yes, we have connected 8 graphics cards to one machine using two PCIe slots and two of those splitters linked in the first post.
