Well, if you know the speed, you can calculate how much time it takes to be in your range and use the --runtime switch.

1) Make sure that you have 13.1 driver properly installed. 2) Try the same command line with either -d 1 or -d 2.

For question #2, OS does not affect the cracking speeds.

Not sure if you need the -i switch or if it's turned on automatically when you put --increment-min=1 so just add it in case. More importantly, you are missing a mask at the end: ?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1
