Nice paper about the corrupted hashes. This explains a lot of weird things that I was seeing in other's dumps. |

Make sure you point oclhashcat to the right hash file. Otherwise can you post the 2 command lines you used for hashcat and oclhashcat? |

Would need the input from the devs since that I am not sure you are supposed to be able to use rules in the -a 1 mode for Hashcat. For Oclhashcat there is -j and -k that apply a single rule for the l... |

Yes, I am pretty sure it is feasible. The question is why you did not try it instead and/or what problem did you get?
I suggest also you modify your order of ?1 and put it like this:

Like others mentioned. Unique salts per user AND highly iterated hashing algorithm AND possibly enforcing a minimum complexity to password like > 8 chars, containing at least 1 symbol, etc. |

@Atom. I think that what the user wants to do with the Dummy mode is basically work with rules only with plain-text without any hashing process. You input a dictionary, use rules and see if you can ... |
