Thread: Identifying reference design GTX 980s
Post: RE: Identifying reference design GTX 980s
Then I am baffled too because from what I understood from your posts is that the centrifugal blower was the most reliable visual clue that it was a reference design. |

The most reliable way to tell if a card is reference design or not is to go to amd.com or nvidia.com and look at their official product photos.

No, it does work on hybrid attack and I think that the answer is the equivalent in the keyspace but I would like a confirmation of this. |

Thread: How To Use New Oclhashcat?
Post: RE: How To Use New Oclhashcat?
You keep making a different mistake in every command line. First, you needed a space between -a and 3. Second, it's cudahashcat64 and not cudaoclhashcat64. Try the following:
Code:

You are on the right path, it's been proven to be a good approach for slow hashes but it's not automatically doable on Hashcat / Oclhashcat. You would need a script to generate all the command lines,... |

For straight dictionary attack it's -a 0. When you do combinatory attack (-a 1) the 2 dics may or may not be the same but you have to specify both of them even if they are the same. |
