Make sure that you have tried to crack with oclhashcat-plus 0.15 and not an earlier version since the password is 16 characters. To validate your .hccap file, try to crack it using CPU hashcat.

The problem itself is not clear, at least to me. When oclhashcat crashes during a session and you try to restore it, I shows the stats but the progress stays to zero. Is that it?

I never heard of the GPU one but HashManager (CPU) has it implemented already. Not sure if it's support SHA512 but MD5 and SHA-1, yes.
