Hi all. The fix for windows XP in Hashcat 0.43b2 worked well. I can do dictionary attack without problems. I then tried some bruteforcing with this command line:

This sounds to me like normal behavior. Like unix-ninja said, you press s (lowercase s) to update the screen info. You will see that the field "Progress" will increase with time until it finishes. |

I guess it's possible that depending on how you extracted the hash, you are trying to login onto the domain with the local admin password or vice versa. |

I did not use the -e in a while but I have just tried it and get the error message "to much salts". I have put Hashcat Vbulletin salt file for -e and used the mode 5. Is that a bug or a limitation? |
