Thread: $3,000 budget ?
Post: RE: $3,000 budget ?
epixoip's boxen are pretty nasty. for 3 grand, get a big case, cheap proc, ram, hdd, and as many video cards as you can stuff in it. you probably dont get too far with 290x's, but price things out. |

Thread: update please?
Post: RE: update please?
I updated the post, but your stupidity is your own since there is not only a redirect to the page from the old link, but also a section that says "Supported Devices". |

You shouldn't install the sdk. However, the list of supported cards will be those that support OpenCL processing.
Theoretically yes. If the RX line is supported, your card SHOULD be. |

Thread: Portable GPU-cracker station
Post: RE: Portable GPU-cracker station
BitFenix makes some nice small cases that can house midline GPU's.
Also, check out Tek Syndicate builds. They do micro gaming machines that should suit your needs. |

Thread: 11 x GTX 970 System
Post: RE: 11 x GTX 970 System
Historically, there has been a 8 card limit due to non 64bit BIOS support, so that may be an issue. I would contact SuperMicro and confirm you will not run into that issue. Otherwise, should be fine... |

Thread: Delta Fans
Post: RE: Delta Fans
You do not want to use deltas unless you are housing the box in a datacenter or have some sort of noise cancellation. Go with noctua's NF-12's instead. |

You dont need to be an electrician to realize that any off the shelf UPS isnt going to hold a gpu box cranking at full speed for any meaningful length of time. |
