no you dont. when your run is finished you can use user:hash:salt with your out file to print it in the format you want. use --username and --show

then whats the problem? GPU hashcat does not support the same length that cpu does, there is no way around that.

thats assuming that the dictionaries are run in the exact same order which they arent, also notice that his GPU runs were completed but CPU was not. It would have found them, but the comparison is sk...

There is a bug with -a 3 and --hex-salt. It's being worked on already.

This has been fixed. It seems a workaround for XP was accidentally removed at v0.41. Forgot to mention this was fixed for .43 beta.

Try on a 64bit OS. Also, you have 6 cores with 12 threads, try with threads set to 12.

32bit build? What processor does your mac have? I was under the impression that all mac's were 64bit capable since they switched to intel and never built a 32bit version.

If you can hop on IRC and see if atom would be willing to give you a beta key so we can do some testing and make sure it's working. Would rather not do a blind release.
