you need to specify the mask. replace your custom-charset with: -1 ?l?u?d?s then use ?1?1?1?1?1 or however many chars you want to attempt.

Errors from barswf are not errors from hashcat. You need to run the command from the cli and tell us what it says. If it works then its an issue with the GUI, if it doesn't then we can at least see ...

thats the only error message thats output? also, what version of OS X are you running? 1.7.4 should be 10.7.4?

It would seem as though you will need to be running 10.8 for this binary. I am working on getting it compatible with earlier versions, but until then, only 10.8 will work.

Stay tuned while we get this worked out. If need be I'll drop back to 10.6 but from the dev documentation it should have been compatible on 10.4+

those should actually be blank hashes then. I noticed this when I added it, think of it as a feature.

no you dont. when your run is finished you can use user:hash:salt with your out file to print it in the format you want. use --username and --show
