Dont use a laptop. If you dont have a choice but to use a laptop, try to get a mobile 7000 series.

Guess it's not too bad considering. Speeds are about 1/5th that of a 7970, and about 1/4 of the cost of one.

if someone recommended a dual gpu card to you they were wrong or you misread. dual gpu cards have heat issues, and unless you plan on watercooling, will not be able to keep under reasonable control.
