its not even The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) really, its debian. I had to use experimental branch to get it working, but you are taking a risk that your entire machine break... |

-m 2611 is not md5(md5($input).$salt) so thats your issue.

Thats means its not supported.

md5(md5($pass).$salt)... i retract my last post and correct myself. I will be either 2611 or 2711 and since 2611 didnt work for you, try 2711. |

I had this as well on a 580 and it turned out to be a bad card. Since I stopped using that card the 700 errors have gone away. |

No it was only on large lists, or highly iterated algos. |
