Care to share the links to these benchmarks? I doubt that maintaining kernels for these devices would be worth it.

No, because this isnt the right place. If you want support for something, you put it on trac with your supporting documentation, and wait to see if it will get implemented.

I wouldn't say it was by accident. I added the feature philsmd mentioned because of precisely this problem. As long as the structure of the restore file doesn't change, hashcat should not deny acces...

Yes. try -n 1 so you arent executing multiple threads. This should fix the unorderedness.
