1. Yes, that works as intended. When you hit XC the program aborts. 2. I dont see how your cpu has anything to do with this? I am saying the gpu that is "slow" doesn't have enough work.

The high rejected count might have something to do with the card under performing. It's possible that there isnt enough work being passed to it.

Well, its not impossible, you just need to do some research. Tailor your wordlists to things that they will most likely be. Try on CPU. bcrypt is it really bad on GPU.

It would seem as though you will need to be running 10.8 for this binary. I am working on getting it compatible with earlier versions, but until then, only 10.8 will work.

Stay tuned while we get this worked out. If need be I'll drop back to 10.6 but from the dev documentation it should have been compatible on 10.4+
