Post: RE: Application Crash When running

If you have crossfire enabled, turn it off. Verify each cards works individually. Use -d 1, then -d 2, see if it crashes. I had this on 2 7970's as well and it turned out to be a bad card :|

So the driver is still failing if you set -d? Exhausted means that it finished its run. what did -d 2 result in?

It's finishing because its done. Status.......: Exhausted Did you get a driver crash between the time that you initiated the run, and when the run ended?

Post: RE: ASIC support?

It was talked about, and I asked BFL for a dev unit. Fact is, it probably wont be feasible since they are really only made to do sha256.

It should be supported, but obviously if you can afford the 280x, it would be the better choice in terms of speed.

It means you are drawing too much power from the wall. How many amps is your house rated for? If you have say, 10 amps (9 with sag) and you are pulling 11, it will cause the cabling to overheat and ...

You could roll back your driver version, but newer versions of hashcat may not work.

You're right, this isn't the right place to ask. Try backtrack forums, or even better, aircrack-ng forums.

Post: RE: BCrypt + GTX670 = 6 c/s?

Well, its not impossible, you just need to do some research. Tailor your wordlists to things that they will most likely be. Try on CPU. bcrypt is it really bad on GPU.

Guess it's not too bad considering. Speeds are about 1/5th that of a 7970, and about 1/4 of the cost of one.
