Thread: Hi guys
Post: RE: Hi guys
Do a little more research into how to make images that compress well. It's quite feasible to make images that are very small. This avatar is only 3K:

Did the attack work?
I think it's informative - not an error? |

Thread: How Calculate GPU Cracking Time
Post: RE: How Calculate GPU Cracking Time
The best way to do this is to perform an actual run.
Raw wordlist mode (with no rules) is very, very fast. hashcat's guessing speed is so fast that it can often spend more time caching a large dict... |

You can use the --hex-charset option to specify this set of binary.
Edit: specifically, something like:
--hex-charset -1 000102030405060708 ?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1
... or however long your expected string... |

That's some kind of weird GPU subscription/membership thing I've never seen before. But the card itself looks right. The "Founders Edition" cards are the hardiest and have the best cooling design - bu... |

Using hashcat on systems for which you are not explicitly authorized to do so ... is a very, very bad idea. What you're describing is certainly unethical, and may even be illegal (but IANAL and this i... |

Thread: How long to decrypt SHA256

There's no online calculator that I'm aware of.
Just do the math:
1. Calculate how many possibilities your mask will generate. For example, ?a has 95 possibilities, so ?a?a?a?a is 95^4 or 81450... |

Our own hardware forum is pretty reputable ;) - search there for PCI-E, extenders, etc. and you should get some good leads. |

Yes, there are ways to do this with PCI-E extenders and an open case. But the choice of extenders can be tricky - powered vs unpowered, and general manufacturing quality can be poor. You can research ... |

Hashcat won't do this today.
You might be able to simulate it with John the Ripper's "single" mode, by creating an artificial shadow file, with the expected password in the username field. |

Looks like this is the same as:
