Thread: [split] oclHashcat-plus v0.15
Post: [split] oclHashcat-plus v0.15
Since upgrading to .15, I've been getting temperature errors.
HD 5850, overclocked, with Abort temp set to 90c. I didn't have this problem till upgrading.

Thank you, atom! I appreciate the response. I did edit my GPU bios recently, I'll go back and take a look at my configuration and see if I screwed up in the temperature controls. |

I don't mean to hijack, just want to know if 13.4 is the recommended driver version? Anything beyond that supported? |

I ended up reverting to stock GPU bios on my HD5850 but with no luck on getting rid of the error. So now I just watch the temp with GPU-Z and turn temp monitoring off. |

I've really wanted rar/zip support for a long time.
I would love to have bitcoin support but sha-512 with 50+ iterations is kinda pointless in my opinion. I've used other tools, with my 3x 270x's, an... |

I think its really cool that you saw open source as a way to improve the capabilities and that was a good motivation for it. |

You can use --force and bypass it. It will work, I've tried it but if somethings breaks don't ask hashcat for help. |

You need to use wallet2john.py to extract the hash.
Find it in the latest mumbo jumbo JtR release.

What driver is recommended for the lastest hashcat?
I'm still on 14.9. Has 15.6 tested yet? I know that 14.12 is not recommended. |
