But it's getting a speed increase!

Using a laptop for hashcracking is a bit unusual and quite ineffective in my opinion. |

| Oclhashcat's docs folder probably has the examples you mentioned.
The .hash files are example hashes, and the .word files are plaintexts of those hashes.
I bet Atom made them just for reference, lik... |

If you would do the math, how long would that take, you prolly wouldnt ask.
No goes to rule file too - Oclhashcat isnt designed for it. |

If you have AMD gpus then it's ok, AMD never fixed OpenCL-Multigpu on Linux OS.
On windows, it works though(like 4... |

| If the password is complex, I would try using wordlist + 1-3 letter mask.
Did you try batchcrack.bat in oclhc folder?
It contains quite a bit of fast masks. |

| Depends how extreme you want your cracking to be.
More loops = less responsive desktop = faster cracking. |

It'll be cool in AMD wont introduce new bugs in it, and it will work with OpenCL without glitching. |

| You do know that DCC treats username as salt ?
And probably not all DCCs have Administrator as username ?
Oh, and the username is case sensitive.
Not to mention speed will suck big time. |

Now that you mentioned buying a new gpu, I'd suggest buying GTX 580.
It's currently the fastest Nvidia GPU.
It may achieve 6.0B ~ 8.0B p/s for 1 MySQL hash.
Which will again reduce ET... |
