You want to extract hashes from a cap file? Cain and Abel may do just that.

Cap2hccap still crashes on my Win7 x64 box, but hey, there's plenty of online websites to conver caps to hccaps, like the one hosted here.

Looks like SHA-1. But to know for certain you should provide the source of the hash, like where did you get it from? Otherwise, it's blind guessing.

Post: RE: no faster WPA2 cracking?

So, technically, Solar Designer was wrong, it is usable with WPA2, it simply will not be practical, since you'll get a tiny increase(0.002%) in speed. But for algos with low iteration count(by low I m...

True, but only for floats. GeForce GPUs are capped at 12.5% of the DP FP performance, while Tesla GPUs have 50% DP FP perf. Hashcracking does not use floats.

The bug: when you launch pluscat with BF(NO per position markov attack!, it's disabled via --markov-disable), it still wants a hcstat file. Logical bug, hello Atom.

Yea, but what if you have 1k+ of masks, each of separate length ? Max len approach sucks. Either no default increment(like it was be4) or --no-increment would be the viable solution.
