Post: RE: Truecrypt
I support this, would definitely wanna see truecrypt encrypted container suppport added.
The only problem may be the "extraction" of vital info from the container, since, afaik, we dont need all th... |

Thread: Infiniband GPU cluster
Post: RE: Infiniband GPU cluster
AFAIK, no.
The only way to parallelize pluscat or any other cat is to write a script that will split the workload and assign work to every GPU over the network.
Or write some kind of framework.

Thread: kepler predictions
Post: RE: kepler predictions
Ok, disappointment number 1: shader clock is no more, shaders run at core clock.
Disappointment number 2 (mot confirmed): like FP64 and FP32, integer performance will be 1/2 or 1/4 int ops per shader... |

Thread: SHA-512 in cudahashcat
Post: RE: SHA-512 in cudahashcat
Sha-2 is very gpgpu unfriendly, on a single GTX 480, pluscat does ~71M p/s for a single sha-512 hash.

Thread: kepler predictions
Post: RE: keplar predictions
If some asian sources prove to be correct, GTX 680's shader domain will be clocked at 1.411Ghz(stock), which will boost MD5 speed to 6.124B p/s.
Hopefully they are correct! |

Thread: Is that possible to use PS3 for Sl3 Cracking ?
Post: RE: Is that possible to use PS3 for Sl3 Cracking ?
Technically this should be possible, but the speeds wont exceed 500M p/s per a PS3.
Oh yeah, and there's no ready solution for this.
While PS3 may be faster than some CPUs, it's pathetic vs. high-... |

Nope.
That would simply wipe out any competition on the hashcracking software scene and thousands of douchebags would simply steal oclhc, reverse, rebrand and sell as own commercial software. |

oclhc is being ported to oclhc-plus, so in time oclhc will be deprecated. |

Post: RE: Vbulletin Low Bruteforce Speed?
No, it's actually simple: oclhc-plus is far more optimized than oclhc, that's why you get better speeds.
The speeds are ok for 8 VB hashes. |

Then I am pretty sure it's a hardware issue.
Triple check all the cables coming to card 3.
Does it gets required power from PSU ?
Does its fan spin ?
Is there some kind of switch to turn off PCI-E... |

Since WPA/WPA2 hashes are salted, there's no difference in time between running 2 hccaps at once or mounting 2 seperate attacks if the attacks fail. |

Teslas have no ROPs, so they cant process graphical output.
IIRC CuStreamsSynchronize() 999 is an unknown error, only Nvidia may know what it means actually. |

ECC is error correcting code.
Teslas have memory with ECC support(implemented really lousy) and I remember one user who turned off ECC and cats worked fine. |
