Thread: Brute force with custom charset
Post: RE: Brute force with custom chares
From HC Wiki (https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=mask_attack):
oclHashcat64 -a 3 -m 400 -i --increment-min=6 -1 ?l?d hash.txt ?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1

Thread: GET EXCITED! 1.2 rel vs 1.31 rc2
Post: RE: GET EXCITED! 1.2 rel vs 1.31 rc2
Can Maxwell, potentially, be tested using frankenstein kernels on 1.2?
I'm very interested in SM_52's results, because GTX 980 is now faster than vanilla Titan. |

Howdy folks.
Here's a benchmark of cudahc v1.2 'release' versus cudahc v1.31 'rc2' on GTX Titan @ 1.045 GHz.
Due to a discovery made by Jens, which resulted in an optimization for both NV and AMD ... |

Post: RE: hi,I need help
You should follow the canonical way of supplying commands:
hashcat -m 0 -a 3 --pw-min=4 --pw-max=4 -1 ?l?d -o /root/done.txt /root/hash/hash.txt ?1?1?1?1
Not that it matters (it's pretty much idiot ... |

Post: RE: it is possible?
You need to understand how mirrored hashes work.
For example, you have a sha512($pass.$salt) algorithm, so in order to brute force the salt you'd need to use sha512($salt.$pass), and configure the ... |

Notice how the price turned out to be better than expected: recommended $549 per GPU.
It seriously beats GTX Titan in int perf / $ category. |
