Thread: [split] Feature/Algo poll oclHashcat v0.23 (DES support)

Actually, that Elcomsoft implemented bitslicing into LM makes sense, since EDPR is afaik is fastest @ handling LM hashes on GPU.
But I dont understand, why not implementing it on DES(Unix) then? |

Yes.
Will be quite useful, especially if oclhc is called by scripts. |

Well, I'd suggest you put some hash:password pairs, and some C code of the algorithm. |

Thread: Merge tools ?
Post: RE: Merge tools ?
Launch openclhashcat with some attack + launch hashcat with some attack.
On windows, oclhc almost doesnt use CPU, so you can use hashcat with it, and causing no uneven resource distribution. |

Post: RE: oclhashcat GUI needed ; I even pay $$ !
2 5970s will be very nice when crazy ati developers fix the opencl runtime bug, which doesnt allow to properly use 2 GPUs of 5970.
Right now, using oclhashcat with 5970s is not worth the effort.

Thread: LM hash support for OCLHC
Post: LM hash support for OCLHC
I'd wish to see it.:)
It may not be bitsliced.
Ofc, it may not be possible to implement with current oclhc architecture(because of 7+7 password length limit).
Not top priority. |

Thread: Have a username file like the salt file
Post: RE: Have a username file like the salt file
You do know that DCC treats username as salt ?
And probably not all DCCs have Administrator as username ?
Oh, and the username is case sensitive.
Not to mention speed will suck big time. |

Indeed, DCC ignores the case of username.
You're too generous to spamming noobs of md5decrypter.co.uk :) |

Thread: Support for DES (Unix)
Post: RE: Support for DES (Unix)
D3ad0ne has a project.
It's about bruteforcing DES(Unix) hashes on CUDA-capable GPUs.
It's not really public, but you could ask him about it. |

Oclhc-plus will be the fastest too.
In my benchmarks, it was 30% faster than Elcomderp and did not use an entire CPU core, amon... |
