Yea, but what if you have 1k+ of masks, each of separate length ? Max len approach sucks. Either no default increment(like it was be4) or --no-increment would be the viable solution.

Downgrade to 306.97 using this link (https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us) and see if that changes anything.

By "finished playing" do you mean the game actually closed or just minimized? Also, does the speed rise to around 90k with time, from 65k?
