Okay, so this predates 7.0. Posting this on NV forums is worth a shot, though.

b14 Quote: -- DES Speed.GPU.#1...: 37043.9 kH/s -- b24 Quote: -- DES Speed.GPU.#1...:   106.9 MH/s -- Works for me. I get "only" 2.79B p/s for LM on my Titan, which isn't too shabby either.

So, in this specific example, Titan X is ~7.2 times faster than Titan, both being overclocked. Serious performance increase over old gen architecture.

Howdy, Mastercracker. I dont think something might be done in Windows to overcome this issue. Atom plans to add wordlist segmentation in the future. Right now, the workaround is simple: split the word...

GeForce GTX 460 has most bang for buck as of the latest Nvidia's. Radeon 5770 is the best $/perf card.

Steep huh? Well, budget cards can go along with cracking, but dont expect high speeds on those.

Working together = not possible. Using either gtx 480 OR 5670 is possible. You only need to specify platform(-p flag). However, I suspect that it is possible to run 2 seperate oclhc instances, one for...

Post: RE: New Graphic Card, whichh should I buy?

If you dont mind the price, buy Radeon 5870 or GTX 480 . They are top for amd and nv atm. Just make sure they are properly cooled, so buy a model with non-stock cooling.

Pick the amd card. Not only has it more firepower, it doesnt have "innovations" that slow down the speed of hashcracking. Radeon 6850 should also be twice faster than GTX 460.

Yes, 5870 > 6870. 2 * 6870 > gtx 480. Good estimations here (https://www.golubev.com/gpuest.htm)

It would be good if they raise the limit of properly working GPUs on Windows to 8 too, but without breaking anything again.
