Thread: NTLM hash with russian charset
Post: RE: NTLM hash with russian charset
To our poor users: use this (https://www.rurapenthe.me/2013/09/cracking-hashes-with-other-language.html) if you're not dealing with Latin(ASCII) characters. |

The mask needs to be 18 characters, as unicode characters are two bytes long. |

Thread: New Graphic Card, whichh should I buy?
Post: RE: New Graphic Card, whichh should I buy?
If you dont mind the price, buy Radeon 5870 or GTX 480 .
They are top for amd and nv atm.
Just make sure they are properly cooled, so buy a model with non-stock cooling. |

Thread: Simple Scan
Post: RE: Simple Scan
OCLHC is designed for bruteforcing, mask and combination attacks.
It is not designed to run simple wordlist attacks. |

Thread: ERROR: cuMemAlloc() 1 with GTX TITAN
Post: RE: ERROR: cuMemAlloc() 1 with GTX TITAN
sm_35 kernels DO exist in latest pluscat, so this is funky.
But the error is not kernel related, it has something to do with memory allocation.
Atom?
I remember fzero had to rename sm_20 kernels ... |

Thread: status from gpu cracking?
Post: RE: status from gpu cracking?
No, only hash per line is supported at the moment, so pwdump or other formats won't work. |

It's not open source and the masks are incremented right to left. |

Reinventing the wheel, ehh?
I would reconsider your approach, as a free, working solution already exists. |

Thread: Password distribute for parallel processing
Post: RE: Password distribute for parallel processing
You could start by building your custom wrapper for hashcat/oclhashcat.
The cats themselves support password distribution through -s and -l flags, so the wrapper would need to simply utilize that.

Judging by the temperature of the GPU in the second example, it is underutilized. |

With lower temperatures slow down the natural deterioration of hardware, so setting the fans to maximum is a good idea. |
