Thread: wpa/wpa2 for hc
Post: wpa/wpa2 for hc
Why?
1. Oclhc has password limit set to 16, and increasing it would increase the mem usage tremendously. This is where hashcat comes along. And it's increased password limit.
2. Sometimes you get ac... |

Update to the latest driver.
Teslas have a separate driver, so I cant say which version, but for GeForce GPUs, you'll need ForceWare 270.xx+ .
Try 276.14 Tesla drivers, which are the latest WHQLd ... |

Only hashcat and litecat support restore.
The max length of 15 exists for optimization(speed) purposes. |

It's a performance tuning flag.
The higher you set it, the faster it will crack hashes, but at the cost of more unresponsive desktop.
I personally set it to 8, since that allows me to play games at re... |

Yup, make sure you red card isn't red because it's hot!
Except that, well, you can pick a model with higher vRAM amount, if you're planning to BF huge hashlists.
Oh, and core clock affects speed.

The bug: when you launch pluscat with BF(NO per position markov attack!, it's disabled via --markov-disable), it still wants a hcstat file.
Logical bug, hello Atom. |

Cap2hccap still crashes on my Win7 x64 box, but hey, there's plenty of online websites to conver caps to hccaps, like the one hosted here. |

The best option would be manually cleaning the cap file; should that be impossible, then there's wpaclean. |

md5($salt.$pass).
Your hash should look like 70XXe51f7XX1b7916XX25eacc3XXb317:8972mekolat0 .
However, if you do the math, you will learn that bruteforcing a alphanumeric string of 16 characters is f... |

You'll need to image the boot disk first I think.
Byte-to-byte format would be the best one I suppose.
Probably several MBs of the beginning of the disk will do. |

GTX 780 will have around 90.12% of GTX Titan's performance (both at stock clocks).
So, get any results for the latter and multiply them by 0.9012.
You'll get a pretty damn close result, since both G... |
