Brute force. There are some wifi providers which use 8 character all upper case only, this is now brute-forcible but hashcat+ doesn’t allow u?u?u?u?u?... |

Thread: wpa/wpa2 for hc
Post: wpa/wpa2 for hc
Why?
1. Oclhc has password limit set to 16, and increasing it would increase the mem usage tremendously. This is where hashcat comes along. And it's increased password limit.
2. Sometimes you get ac... |

You can calculate ETA by dividing total number of combinations by current speed.
If that's len8 alpha, then it's 26^8 combination.
As for the progress stuff, well, it's kinda possible, but tricky,... |

Thread: oclHashcat-plus 0.06 - md5(unix) keeps crashing on w7x64
Post: RE: oclHashcat-plus 0.06 - md5(unix) keeps crashin...
If it's a WDDM timeout(or no timeout) then it's just long kernel runtimes.
Fixed by lowering some settings, like -n and loops.
If not, well, HW is unstable.
Or the PSU is lousy. |

Yeah, the "effective load" of the GPU is lower.
It may or may not be connected with the GPU utilization. |

Thread: How to work with polish letters
Post: RE: How to work with polish letters
For this to properly work, you will need to save the cmd in utf-7 charset or in system's native, and then to read the outfile with those.
It's pretty easy for me to do with EmEditor, and I made ocl... |

then try doing it this way:
chcp 65000
oclhc.exe bla bla bla
Basically, just add chcp 65000 to the batch file and see if anything changes. |

did you properly extract oclhc ?
To me sounds like the NV kernels are missing from their location. |

Update to the latest driver.
Teslas have a separate driver, so I cant say which version, but for GeForce GPUs, you'll need ForceWare 270.xx+ .
Try 276.14 Tesla drivers, which are the latest WHQLd ... |

Post: RE: Cpu + gpu for wpa/wpa2 how to set ?
I'm not the Master of Cats, Atom is.
IIRC it's possible with opencl-based hashcat.
But really, if you look at 5970s' result and any other CPUs' result, you'll see it's not to add CPU support.

Thread: Finding salt, with known pass and part of hash
Post: RE: Finding salt, with known pass and part of hash
It is not possible, unless:
1. You find out the hash completely. HC does not support partial hashes. I know only one program which does, and it's PPro.
2. You need to know the exact algorithm.
If... |
