Thread: oclHashcat and memory
Post: RE: oclHashcat and memory
Howdy, Mastercracker.
I dont think something might be done in Windows to overcome this issue.
Atom plans to add wordlist segmentation in the future.
Right now, the workaround is simple: split the word... |

Thread: Hashcat on MAC ? + questions !
Post: RE: Hashcat on MAC ? + questions !
I suggest you use hashcat on your mac the same way you use passwordspro there.
To get the usage help, simply run it in a command promt with "--help" parameter. |

Thread: NTLM Algorithm on CUDA
Post: RE: NTLM Algorithm on CUDA
Hey.
Yes, it does, but it uses OpenCL instead of CUDA.
So, as long as you have the latest NV drivers, it will work.
Run OCLHC with "--help" parameter and you'll see it's attack mode 1000. |

It would be good if they raise the limit of properly working GPUs on Windows to 8 too, but without breaking anything again. |

Thread: Can't get ocl working as hashcat
Post: RE: Can't get ocl working as hashcat
Nope.
And that's stated in oclhc/cudahc docs, which come in release archives.
But there will be another project from Atom, which will probably do what you want. |

Yes, minimal password length cant be defined yet.
Indeed, one dictionary + mask ; or one dictionary + another dictionary. |

Actually, that Elcomsoft implemented bitslicing into LM makes sense, since EDPR is afaik is fastest @ handling LM hashes on GPU.
But I dont understand, why not implementing it on DES(Unix) then? |
