No it cant. Try generating hashes of known plaintexts and then bruteforcing those hashes.

Yes. As a matter of fact, any GPU of sm >=2.0 has modern CUDA support. For GeForce, it's any GPU older or belonging to 4xx series.

Guess we're looking at the best Maxwell perf/$; perf/TDP card, folks. Probably the best card for hashcracking among all vendors in aforementioned "disciplines", but this needs confirmation.

That's better. 980 Ti is close to 970 by effective performance, but GTX Titan X is substantially better than 980 Ti (980 gets the silver medal). 'course, this is using actual TDP vs the one manu...

"--gpu-watchdog 0" is the flag to disable the watchdog. Just add it to the command line and the error should be gone.
