You can convert it to hex format and use it right now. |

Post: RE: That will be in the new version oclHashcat?
Hmm, I made a SHA-1 of pass "dragon7" - 975e734980efc2a0cf3b3bb3bd6fde89469e86e7
Then I put it into a file hash.txt
Then I call Oclhc with this batch file(test.bat), which contains:
Code:

Maybe it is a hardware issue, but I need this box to stop crashing.

It's probably a hardware issue. |

Thread: File Hashes?
Post: RE: File Hashes?
Theoretically, if you discard the fact that an image will be a massive set of data (say, 2MB = 2^16777216 bits = a number made up of 5,050,446 digits), yeah, you can eventually "recover" the image by ... |

Thread: File Hashes?

I don't think that even a cluster array of CPU/GPUs made up of room temperature superconductors, which were shaped into 1 nm transistors would help.
So yeah, not going to happen anytime soon (if at a... |

Thread: Merge tools ?
Post: RE: Merge tools ?
Launch openclhashcat with some attack + launch hashcat with some attack.
On windows, oclhc almost doesnt use CPU, so you can use hashcat with it, and causing no uneven resource distribution. |

Thread: Lowering FSB Increases WPA2 Speed
Post: RE: Lowering FSB Increases WPA2 Speed
Windows bug probably, as lowering clocks can never provide speed boost by design.
So no, the speed isn't real.
It's either skipping passwords or showing you higher-than-actual speed. |

Thread: oclHashcat-plus 0.06 - md5(unix) keeps crashing on w7x64
Post: RE: oclHashcat-plus 0.06 - md5(unix) keeps crashin...
If it's a WDDM timeout(or no timeout) then it's just long kernel runtimes.
Fixed by lowering some settings, like -n and loops.
If not, well, HW is unstable.
Or the PSU is lousy. |

Yeah, the "effective load" of the GPU is lower.
It may or may not be connected with the GPU utilization. |

Thread: Question on rules
Post: RE: Question on rules
Hashcat does not support preprocessing.
But it's getting a speed increase!
P.S.
Using a laptop for hashcracking is a bit unusual and quite ineffective in my opinion. |

Oclhashcat's docs folder probably has the examples you mentioned.
The .hash files are example hashes, and the .word files are plaintexts of those hashes.
I bet Atom made them just for reference, lik... |
