Since WPA/WPA2 hashes are salted, there's no difference in time between running 2 hccaps at once or mounting 2 seperate attacks if the attacks fail.

Try the latest release(v0.14), but most importantly, make sure you extract everything right, the hashcat.hcstat file should be present in the folder.

Can Maxwell, potentially, be tested using frankenstein kernels on 1.2? I'm very interested in SM_52's results, because GTX 980 is now faster than vanilla Titan.

You can always write a ticket on hashcat trac (top menu) and see what the devs say. If it's really common, I see no reason why it shouldn't be implemented.

I've seen -5 errors on Windows too, which were related to gpu instability. 256.53 - the best for Linux 258.96 - the best for Windows They are the last drivers which were proper.
