Post: RE: Is that possible to use PS3 for Sl3 Cracking ?

Technically this should be possible, but the speeds wont exceed 500M p/s per a PS3. Oh yeah, and there's no ready solution for this. While PS3 may be faster than some CPUs, it's pathetic vs. high-...

I remember similar situation with NV. When they released CUDA 3.2(which required 260.xx), there was a HUGE speed loss, but oclhc was using OpenCL for NV then. I was using the old version of oclhc and ...

Yeah, it was just a newer version, a beta to be exact. And cats are the same for both Linux and Windows.

Post: RE: Problem with -l and -s

Oclhashcat does not have simple wordlist attack, and will not have it in the future. It's made for combo attack, with 2 sides. So oclhashcat.exe hash_file dictionary_file will not work. I have no...

I'd use that for some DP FP stuff, but I dont have any DP FP stuff :) Anyways, those 2 Teslas appear to be weaker than 2 GTX 470, because they have lowered clocks! 49 minutes for [0;6] all-space is ...

Hashcat does not support preprocessing. But it's getting a speed increase! P.S. Using a laptop for hashcracking is a bit unusual and quite ineffective in my opinion.

Oclhashcat's docs folder probably has the examples you mentioned. The .hash files are example hashes, and the .word files are plaintexts of those hashes. I bet Atom made them just for reference, lik...

If it's a WDDM timeout(or no timeout) then it's just long kernel runtimes. Fixed by lowering some settings, like -n and loops. If not, well, HW is unstable. Or the PSU is lousy.

Yeah, the "effective load" of the GPU is lower. It may or may not be connected with the GPU utilization.

Post: RE: Lowering FSB Increases WPA2 Speed

Windows bug probably, as lowering clocks can never provide speed boost by design. So no, the speed isn't real. It's either skipping passwords or showing you higher-than-actual speed.
