Thread: GTX Titan Support
Post: RE: GTX Titan Support
Or you could write atom a PM and he'd give you the beta key.
Latest release required some 314.xx drivers iirc. |

Post: RE: Truecrypt hash (volume not boot)
It's impossible to extract the hashing & encryption algorithm from a TC container, so you'll have to try combinations of all. |

Admin @ InsidePro has just released a new version of his GPU hashcracker.
Major spotlights:
Up to 256 different attacks can be specified to run in one run, no need to make 256 batch files for that... |

Just compared HM and HC on same MD5 hashes and with the same rule file.
126M p/s for HM_AVX2, 117M p/s for HC_AVX2. |

All alrogithms produce top speed using AVX2 binary, except Blowfiskars(crypt), whose speed drops to ~8k. |

Thread: nVidia 263.06 (beta) drivers confirmed working
Post: RE: nVidia 263.06 (beta) drivers confirmed working
Yep, that's the driver that's been floating around.
It's generally needed to toy with 3.2 release toolkit/sdk.
'Course, I measured even more performance drop with 263.xx than with 260.xx on multiple... |

6990 indeed looks amazing from what info has leaked.
It'll be cool in AMD wont introduce new bugs in it, and it will work with OpenCL without glitching. |

Like Xan said, normal behavior.
You are never guaranteed that a hash will be crack, except if you're dealing with old MySQL hashes or crc32 checksums. |

Sample hashes are alright.
Like Philipp said, --hex-charset is obsolete.
Ditch it and it should work.
Also, I highly recommend not to use the -c flag at all.
Finally, hashcat is smart, you don't n... |

Add a pause at the end, so the batch file would look like this:
Code:
--
oclHashcat-lite32 5dXXX02abc4b2a76bXXX9d9110XXX592
pause
--
That should shed some light on what's going on. |

Ask Atom for beta access, like Philipp says in that thread, since at least one dude (https://hashcat.net/forum/thread-3243.html?highlight=750+ti) got it working.
Speaking of Maxwell, my estimations... |

Thread: Intel or AMD?
Post: RE: Intel or AMD?
That would depend on your budget mostly.
Haswell CPUs are quite fast due to AVX2 instruction.
But you could buy a quad socket MB and stuff it with Opterons. |

Thread: HMAC-SHA1(key=SHA1(password), data=salt)
Post: RE: HMAC-SHA1(key=SHA1(password), data=salt)
I'd say it's -m 150, but I may be wrong.
Can you get a password, say, 12345, into the system and extract the corresponding hash?
That way you'll know for sure whether it's -m 150 or -m 160. |
