Or you could write atom a PM and he'd give you the beta key. Latest release required some 314.xx drivers iirc.

It's impossible to extract the hashing & encryption algorithm from a TC container, so you'll have to try combinations of all.

Just compared HM and HC on same MD5 hashes and with the same rule file. 126M p/s for HM_AVX2, 117M p/s for HC_AVX2.

Yep, that's the driver that's been floating around. It's generally needed to toy with 3.2 release toolkit/sdk. 'Course, I measured even more performance drop with 263.xx than with 260.xx on multiple...

6990 indeed looks amazing from what info has leaked. It'll be cool in AMD wont introduce new bugs in it, and it will work with OpenCL without glitching.

Like Xan said, normal behavior. You are never guaranteed that a hash will be crack, except if you're dealing with old MySQL hashes or crc32 checksums.

Add a pause at the end, so the batch file would look like this: Code: -- oclHashcat-lite32 5dXXX02abc4b2a76bXXX9d9110XXX592 pause -- That should shed some light on what's going on.

That would depend on your budget mostly. Haswell CPUs are quite fast due to AVX2 instruction. But you could buy a quad socket MB and stuff it with Opterons.

I'd say it's -m 150, but I may be wrong. Can you get a password, say, 12345, into the system and extract the corresponding hash? That way you'll know for sure whether it's -m 150 or -m 160.
