Intel OpenCL runtimes are necessary for all CPU's even AMD's. You can check if your CPU is being detected by using hashcat -I to see what drivers and devices are detected.

Don't use the gui and just use the standard application.  https://hashcat.net/files/hashcat-6.1.1.7z Learn to use the application and not some simplified interface and you'll be fine.
