Thread: NVidia RTX 2080
Post: RE: NVidia RTX 2080
Just less than two weeks before the first gaming benchmarks and Turing cards have been already reported all over the Web as probably the biggest failure of all time for nVidia.
RTX Turing cards are... |

Oh man.
I really really don't understand what are you talking about.

Post: RE: NVidia RTX 2080
Turing is a lot slower regarding price to performance ratio.
It will be faster in absolute performance, but with a huge premium in price not worthy to make the move from Pascal to Turing.

But I have already told you that Vega20 is on 7nm architecture with very low TDP and thermals and high clocks.

Post: RE: NVidia RTX 2080
After reading a few articles regarding Turing architecture, I can say for sure that hashcat can't use RT cores or Tensor cores.
RT cores leverage FP numbers which are useless to hashcat and Tensor ... |

It seems that you were wrong in all parameters of Turing architecture and implementation eventually.
RT cores are fixed-function not usable by hashcat and Tensor cores although more flexib... |

The issue here is that I read your posts, but from the beginning of the thread actually.
You were desperately trying to level up the hype, to build an image of Turing that simply doesn't exi... |

Post: RE: Nvidia RTX 2070 vs AMD Vega RX 64
Radeon VII (7) just announced.
Vega 2nd generation at 7nm with 62% faster OpenCL performance than Vega64 could be a potential hashcat killer GPU.
We have to see real hashcat performance and ther... |

So, according to atom's relevant reply - benchmarks leveraging hashcat v4.00 - it is true.
VEGA 64 Air is A LOT FASTER than GTX 1080.
Waiting for the VEGA 64 Liquid results vs 1080 Ti |

I saw a post regarding Ethereum performance and it goes like this:
Vega64 ~ 45 MH/s
Titan V ~ 70 MH/s
Radeon 7 ~ 90 MH/s (unoptimized - out of the box)
