Ok, understood. It's very rare use anything above -n 80... sometimes a lower value, depending of the algo, or the number of hashes. Thanks for the explanation about the target of this function, atom.

Hashcat 0.42b5 have this behavior. OclHashcat-plus-0.10-rc3 don't give any message and works normally (at the moment).
