Hi atom, I see you have moved hashcat.org onto your server now with tmto.org. Is there a reason you don't host hashcat on your uber server(s) anyway? As you say, the current host sucks ass big time! |

Yeah I'm glad it's getting back, pitty we can't say as much for hashkiller.com :( I did mention about hosting their forums for em until its back as anything is better than nothing atm. |

You could store the file position OR closest offset value every 5% in the dictstat2 file for each wordlist as mentioned in first post. Maybe only do this for wordlists over 1GB? Hashcat actually displ... |

OK firstly, what's up with the new HashcatGUI? The old GUI was way too long and does not have all the options, as well as being out-dated.
You cannot specify compressed files in the "Hash File" sec... |

On a related not to cracking VB hashes, when I specify the salt file which contains 857375 salts, oclHashcat come back as says:
ERROR: too much salts
